Gala concert "Strong in unity, united in song" at the Minsk Hero City Obelisk

The massive patriotic event “Let’s sing the anthem together” and colorful fireworks ended Independence Day celebrations in Minsk. Thousands of Minsk residents and guests of the capital city came to the Minsk Hero City Obelisk in the evening to sing the national anthem of the Republic of Belarus. They were joined by participants of the gala concert “Strong in unity, united in song”, by artists, volunteers, spectators, and young people.

The anthem singalong was particularly touching and significant as the crowd sang the anthem as one, with flags going up into the sky and people’s faces overwhelmed by emotions of pride and unity.

Right after the anthem singalong the sky above Belarus’ capital city was lit up with colorful fireworks. The firework lights soared above the city accompanied by festive music. The fireworks ended the intensive program of the country’s key state holiday.
