St. Euphrosyne’s Cross on display in Vitebsk

The national relic – Cross of Saint Venerable Euphrosyne of Polotsk - has arrived at Holy Dormition Cathedral in Vitebsk.

The relic is a full-size replica of the lost original cross made by Lazar Bogsha in 1161. The modern cross of Euphrosyne of Polotsk was made by Brest jeweler-enameler Nikolai Kuzmich in 1997. The relic is housed in Convent the Savior and St Euphrosyne in Polotsk.
