Transfiguration Church in Polotsk reopens after restoration

The Transfiguration Church of St. Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk was re-opened after many years of restoration. The majestic church is one of the oldest stone churches in Belarus. Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, led a thanksgiving prayer service in honor of the opening of the church. The ceremony was attended by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova.
