Ivan Litvinovich of Belarus won gold in trampoline at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, becoming two-time Olympic champion.

In the qualification that featured 16 athletes the Belarusian scored 63.420 to qualify to the final on the top spot. In the final Ivan Litvinovich performed seventh and scored a total of 63.090 to beat China’s Zisai Wang (61.890). Bronze went to China’s Langyu Yan. Three years ago Ivan Litvinovich won gold in Tokyo.

The 23-year-old Belarusian is also the European champion and two-time world champion as well as the world silver medalist in individual events.

"Of course, I was a bit nervous before and during the competitions. I tried to keep my mind off it, talked to the coach, and didn't watch the other guys perform. The competitors' performance was amazing, which could have put me off my stride. But in the end, I defended my champion title! I would like to point out that no victory was easy for me. Our training sessions were really strenuous. Here in Paris, it was also difficult. We put a lot of effort in preparing for the competitions, so did the competitors, who showed good jumps. I just edged them out," said Ivan Litvinovich.
