Belarus’ Abubakar Khaslakhanau has progressed to the Greco-Roman wrestling quarterfinal at the ongoing 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games.

The Belarusian is competing in the 97kg weight category. Abubakar Khaslakhanau is second-seeded among 16 wrestlers. The Belarusian faced Georgia’s Roberti Kobliashvili in 1/8 final. Abubakar Khaslakhanau edged the opponent 1-0 in the first three-minute period and secured his advantage in the second to clinch a convincing victory, 9-1.
