Lime tree avenue planted by Forest Week participants outside fort No.2 in Grodno District

A commemorative avenue was planted outside fortress fort No.2 in Grodno District where over 20,000 prisoners of war, prisoners of concentration camps, and civilians were killed during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Participants of the campaign planted 25 lime trees at a site outside the fortified structure.
