Easter traditions of Mogilev District

Easter is one of the most important Christian festivals, when believers celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. As it also marks the end of the Great Lent, festive tables are full of various traditional dishes and treats. In Belarus, Orthodox Christians break their fast with a traditional Easter cake and colored eggs.
