Belarus will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the second time. Minsk debuted as the host of the contest in 2010. The organizers are actively preparing for the contest. This year the number of participants will beat last year’s. For the first time Junior Eurovision will feature 20 countries. The host country has chosen the venues, the stage design and, most importantly, selected its representative.
