The ancient residence of the Radziwill family in Nesvizh is one of the most famous places of interest in Belarus and Europe. Exactly ten years ago the inimitable architectural and landscape ensemble – a relic of the Middle Ages – was inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List. The place became even more popular among travelers from various countries.

A place of romantic and mystic legends that keeps family jewels of the dynasty, which was one of Europe’s most powerful once, the Nesvizh Palace has yet to reveal some secrets. For instance, the story of the famous treasures, which fate inspires scientists, writers, movie authors has yet to be told… In September 2015 Nesvizh welcomed the first historical musical and theatrical quest Twelve Apostles. Participants of the event thoroughly explored the basement and underground passages under the ramparts that surround the palace, visited the tower and even dropped by into the rooms, which were still closed to tourists…

However, one can see unusual and captivating things in the palace on any day of the year and in any season. The Nesvizh Palace has been renovated to once again demonstrate interior designs boasting rich plasterwork and frescos, solid hardwood flooring, luxurious ceiling lamps and tiled fireplaces, ancient furniture and truly rare items from the life of the powerful gentry. The number includes original portraits of the Radziwills and pictures from the family collection, antique tableware, bedroom sets with the family coat of arms, a rare billiard table, books…

Apart from the palace and park complex the national museum Nesvizh boasts the Divine Flesh catholic church with an untouched vault of the Radziwills, a town hall more than 400 years of age, Belarus’ only authentic medieval town gates and certainly the cozy streets of the town of Nesvizh which was planned by the Radziwills…
