Belarus parliament elections

MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) - Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina met with Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission Cayetana De Zulueta Owtram, BelTA kerned from the website of the Central Election Commission.

“Lidia Yermoshina informed the representatives of the mission about the current events of the election campaign, complaints submitted to the Central Election Commission, forthcoming events in the process of preparation for the elections,” the press release reads.

Fifty-one representatives of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights have been accredited to monitor the elections so far.
