Belarus parliament elections

MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) - The election campaign to the House of Representatives in Belarus is in compliance with the international standards, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Yergali Bulegenov said in a press conference on 29 August, BelTA has learned.

“The parliamentary elections in Belarus comply with the national laws and international standards,” said Yergali Bulegenov.

The diplomat pointed out that a large number of international observers, including from the CIS, OSCE and PACE are working in Belarus now. He expressed the hope that their assessment of the election campaign will be unbiased.

The elections to the House of Representatives of Belarus’ National Assembly will be held on 11 September.
