Lukashenko wishes Belarusian women happy Mother’s Day

MINSK, 14 October (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended Mother’s Day greetings to Belarusian women, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

The president noted that on this festive day, all the warmest words are addressed to the women who gave us life and surrounded us with truly boundless love and tenderness.

“Happy childhood begins with a mother’s embrace, a mother’s faith becomes a source of success for a child, and the home where a mother waits remains the most important place of a child's strength,” the message of greetings reads.

“Thank you, our dear women, for remaining true to your most important purpose, for your spiritual generosity, your resilience and the world you have created, filled with joyful children’s laughter,” the head of state said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished his compatriots strong health, kindness, inspiration and bright, unforgettable moments spent with family and loved ones.

“May every woman know the joy of motherhood, and may our children always be surrounded by parental warmth, care and attention,” the president stressed.
