MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has departed on a major comprehensive visit to East and Southeast Asia, the Belarusian leader’s press service told BelTA.
Aleksandr Lukashenko will visit a number of states for top-level talks, during which the parties will discuss large-scale, promising projects for the country across various areas. Each of these visits was preceded by extensive preparatory work.
East and Southeast Asia is a region that stands as a leader in global development and a key driver of the world economy. This underscores Belarus’ high interest in expanding cooperation with Asian states, which remains among its top foreign policy priorities and forms the foundation of its multi-vector policy.
“Ahead is a journey of tens of thousands of kilometers and three countries on the tour schedule,” the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel, which covers the president’s agenda, revealed.
