Lukashenko: Five-year quality plan will start with Year of Improvement

MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) - The five-year plan will start with the Year of Improvement of the Country, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in his New Year’s address to the Belarusian people, BelTA learned.

“Our way is continuity. We will go through a generational change in the coming years. We are doing it our Belarusian wise way by relying on everything that we cherish and are proud of. The next five-year period in our country will be the five-year period of quality, and we will devote each year to one important area. Let us start with the Year of Improvement. The goal of the year will be to improve the quality of life of people,” the Belarusian leader said.

In his New Year’s address Aleksandr Lukashenko said that very soon the country will be choosing its future. “We all want it to be successful and happy. And peaceful,” he said.
