The project ”Sports Family-Healthy Nation“ offered for co-financing

Project name: ”Sports Family-Healthy Nation“ (construction of a modern sports ground in Rusachki, the new residential district of Miory)

Implementation period: 1 year

Applicant: the sports and tourism sector of the Miory District Executive Committee

Project objective:
1. to set up a modern sports ground in Rusachki, the new residential district of Miory;
2. to meet the needs of the residents (children, teenagers, students and their parents, persons with disabilities) in sports and active family outdoor activities;
3. to encourage children to do mass sports in order to solve the problem of ”pernicious influence of streets“;
4. to increase residents’ interest in a healthy lifestyle;
5. to provide residents with an opportunity to do sports free of charge;
6. to create conditions for persons with disabilities to do sports;
7. to implement the state policy in the physical education of the population.

Goals:
1. to prepare a site for a modern sports ground;
2. to purchase and install sports equipment;
3. to popularize a healthy lifestyle, encourage residents to do sports.

Target group: children and teenagers, students, adults, persons with disabilities living in the Rusachki residential district

Brief description of the activities: installing equipment for children’s playground, workout areas, outdoor simulators, including for persons with disabilities, rubber coating, fencing and small architectural forms (gazebos, benches, bins, signs with information about the humanitarian project)
