Humanitarian project of Yanovshchina children’s camp
Project name: the construction of a modern sports ground in the Yanovshchina children’s camp.

Implementation period: 12 months

Applicant: Department of education, sports and tourism of the Krupki District Executive Committee

Project objectives: to set up a modern sports ground to promote a healthy lifestyle and health among children at the Yanovshchina children’s camp

Project goals:

  • to prepare the site for the installation of a modern sports ground;
  • to purchase and install sports equipment;
  • to install sports equipment for children with disabilities;
  • to create new health-improving conditions for children to promote children’s recreation in summer camps;
  • to attract children to sports and an active healthy lifestyle.

Target group: children aged 6 to 18

Brief description of the project activities:

  • to prepare the site for the installation of a modern sports ground;
  • to apply rubber coating for the sports ground;
  • to purchase and install sports equipment;
  • to install a modern sports ground;
  • to install 2D fencing panels, a mini football net, volleyball stands;
  • to lay running tracks around the athletic field;
  • to install tennis tables;
  • to arrange a mini-football pitch with natural turf;
  • to install sports equipment for children with disabilities;
  • to install 2-row stands for spectators;
  • to landscape the area with trees, shrubs, lawns.

Total amount of financing (USD): $65,000

  • Donor funds: $62 000
  • Co-financing: $3 000

Project site: the village of Yanovshchina, Krupki District, Minsk Oblast, Belarus
