Project name: "Moving up"

Project implementation period: 1 year

Applicant organization: state educational and sports institution "Specialized Olympic Reserve School for Children and Youth of Lyakhovichi District"
 
Goal of the project: to provide students and teachers-coaches with transport services to improve the quality of their performance at regional, national, and international sports events; to upgrade physical infrastructure.

Tasks of the project:

- ensuring safe and comfortable travel for students by means of providing transport services with 18-seat vehicles;
- expanding social ties, organizing creative activities, recuperation and recreational activities;
- expanding the list of services provided by the state educational and sports institution "Specialized Olympic Reserve School for Children and Youth of Lyakhovichi District".

Target group: students of the state educational and sports institution "Specialized Olympic Reserve School for Children and Youth of Lyakhovichi District"

Brief description of project activities:

Over five years of work, the school trained 10 candidates for master of sports and 20 first-class athletes. Its students won 264 medals at regional competitions, including 62 gold medals, and 55 medals at national competitions, including 11 gold medals. Representatives of the departments of judo, football, and athletics were included into the national teams of the Republic of Belarus; 15 students have been transferred to the top level of training since 2015.

Within the framework of the project, plans are in place to purchase a car for transportation of students and teachers-coaches (seating 18+1 people) for participation in higher-class competitions. This vehicle will take students to regional, national and international competitions, sports events, tours.
