Project name: Sensory integration

Implementation period: 12 months

Applicant: The state institution of special education “Center of developmental education and rehabilitation of Pinsk District”

Project goal: To ensure the availability of education, improve the conditions of education and upbringing of children with developmental disabilities in Pinsk District of Brest Region

Project tasks:

- adaptation and integration of children with developmental disabilities into modern society (children with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc.);
- modernization of facilities to ensure their accessibility for children with developmental disabilities (children with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc.).);
- equipping the premises for work with children with developmental disorders and disabilities (a room for children with autism, a hall of therapeutic physical culture and occupational therapy, a room of social and domestic orientation, Assembly hall, a library and a lekoteka room observations;
- construction of outdoor sensory areas for games and activities with children with developmental disabilities;
- acquisition of sensory, rehabilitation, gaming, audio-video equipment

Target group: Children with developmental disorders and disabilities of Pinsk District aged from birth to 18 attending the center of developmental education and rehabilitation of Pinsk District

Brief description:

- reconstruction and modernization of premises;
- repair of premises;
- organization of barrier-free and adaptive environment indoors and outdoors;
- acquisition of sensory, rehabilitation, gaming, audio-video equipment;
- purchase of furniture and equipment
