Project name: Family Wellbeing Center INSIGHT
Implementation period: 2019–2021
Applicant: State institution “Territorial Social Services Center of Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk”
Project objectives: Strengthening the institution of the family, improving the quality of life of different types of families, preventing child abandonment
Project goals:

providing consultations and information support, mediation services, psychological support and other types of assistance to families;

providing babysitting and nursing services to families;
-
improving the quality of life of different types of families;
-
facilitating social adaptation of age-diverse families;
-
overcoming ‘family crises’;
-
promoting a responsible approach of each family member to their families;
-
promoting a responsible attitude to choosing a partner;
-
recruiting volunteers to work with target groups;
-
raising awareness of issues facing today’s families.
Target groups: people who are about to get married; young families; future parents; families raising children; families bringing up twins, triplets and more children; families with a disabled child; mature families; elderly families; families where one or both spouses have a disability.
Brief description of the project:
In order to set up the Family Wellbeing Center INSIGHT we need:

the following facilities: a reception hall with a check room, a mini-bar, a primary admission office, an office for care service providers (nurses and babysitters), a hall for group method techniques, a hall for training sessions, an art therapy room, a sand therapy room, a lounge, a dry pool, a virtual reality room, a gym, bathrooms (equipped for people with disabilities), a service room;
-
the following personnel: head of the center (one); specialists (3); coordinators (2); nurses and babysitters (5); psychologists (2); auxiliary personnel (2);
-
third-party specialists, including healthcare workers, educators, lawyers, image-makers, service providers, psychologists, as well as world-class professionals specializing in gestalt therapy, NLP practices, psychoanalysis, etc.

printed materials, media coverage of the center’s activities and services;
-
training of the center’s personnel in Belarus and abroad.
