Humanitarian project: Community Health on Wheels

Project name: Community Health on Wheels

Implementation period: 2021-2025

Applicant: Pinsk City Polyclinic No.1, a branch of Pinsk Central Polyclinic

Project goal: Providing qualified diagnostics and care (pediatric, therapeutic, obstetric, and laboratory) to patients living in rural areas.

Project objectives:

  • Conducting checkups  for prevention and early detection of diseases;
  • conducting laboratory tests;
  • providing online consultations with specialists located in the district capital;
  • selling OTC drugs 

Target group: Rural population.

Brief description of the project activities: Setting up mobile brigades to deliver pediatric, therapeutic, OB-GYN, and laboratory services. These brigades will be provided with the equipment to do ECG, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, Holter monitoring, ultrasound, intraocular pressure measuring, spirography, as well as with laboratory diagnostic kits. Their vehicle will be equipped with a mini-pharmacy and a lifting mechanism for people with disabilities.
