Project name: ‘Heat inside, not outside’ to increase energy efficiency, to conduct thermal modernization of the enclosing structure (facade) of Dormitory No. 1, at 81/5 Sovetskaya Street, Orsha
Implementation period: Six months
Applicant: Orsha State Mechanical and Economic College
Project goals: To create optimal and comfortable living conditions for college students, to increase energy efficiency.
Project justification:
The efficiency improvement project aims to promote energy efficiency and develop economic thinking among college students. The project is meant to involve participants in energy efficiency efforts and to promote an active life position, teach students to solve all production tasks through the prism of environmental consciousness and concern for the future of the planet.
The project also aims to involve students in the activities to reduce the consumption of thermal energy, which will contribute to environmental and economic education.
Another goal is to develop a system of practical measures for the most efficient use of energy resources at college and at home.
Project tasks:
1. To hire a contractor for the development of design and estimate documentation, to obtain permits from the state construction examination authority;
2. To hire a contractor for construction and installation works;
3. To organize the work of the acceptance commission upon completion of construction and installation works.
4. To hold meetings and seminars for college students on energy efficiency and efficient use of energy resources, on ways to use less energy to provide the same amount of energy supply to buildings.
Target group: College students of 1-4 years
Brief description:
1. Organizational energy efficiency measures:
- seminars on energy efficiency in the educational institution;
- open lessons on the energy efficiency at home, in an educational institution.
2. Technical energy efficiency measures:
- design and estimate documentation, passing the state construction expertise;
- construction and installation works;
- commissioning of the facility after completion of construction and installation works.

Sources of financing
Donor funds $78,607
- payment for construction and installation work;
- payments to technical supervision, architectural supervision, construction supervision authorities.
Co-financing $6,046
- payment for the development of design and estimate documentation;
- payment for obtaining permits of the state construction examination authority.
