MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a directive to allocate funds for organizing recreation and health improvement for 272 children from Algeria, Vietnam, Egypt, Zimbabwe, India, China, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Myanmar, and Uzbekistan at the National Children’s Education and Health Center Zubrenok, the press service of the head of state told BelTA.

During their stay in Belarus the children will undergo medical examinations and receive the necessary sanatorium and resort treatment. Apart from that, they will visit cultural events and landmark historical sites in Minsk and the regions where they will learn about the traditions and the way of life of Belarusians.

Invitations for children from other countries have been organized annually since 2017. As part of this health tourism program more than 2,500 children have rested and received treatment in Belarus. It helps strengthen and promote cooperation with other countries in addition to popularizing the country’s tourism potential.
