Presidential election 2015 in Belarus

MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – Polls closed in the Belarus president election at 20:00, BelTA has learned.

All in all, there were over 6,000 polling stations in Belarus, including 49 abroad.

Now the election commissions have started counting the votes. The first preliminary results will be announced, as expected, in about five hours.

The electoral race involves four candidates. The winner will be the one who wins more than 50%of the vote.
