No problems for alliance of observation missions in monitoring Belarus president election

MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – The alliance of observation mission does not encounter any problems in monitoring the election in Belarus, BelTA learned from Henrik Kroner, head of the group of international observers known as the alliance of election observation missions, on 11 October.

However, Henrik Kroner added that taking photos is forbidden at some polling stations.

The observer also mentioned the early voting process. “This is only part of the voting system. It cannot be used to judge the entire system,” he said. Speaking about mass media coverage of the election campaign, he noted the alliance is analyzing publications and stories in mass media.

Henrik Kroner underlined that the mission will present final conclusions on 12 October. “We have yet to see the vote counting process,” noted Henrik Kroner.
