Jacques Faure calls vote count monitoring ‘as interesting experience’

MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – The OSCE/ODIHR mission head Jacques Faure observed the opening of a ballot box and the counting of votes at polling station No. 19 at Minsk school No. 101. In a conversation with BelTA Jacques Faure said that it was a very interesting experience for him.

When visiting two polling stations in the evening at school No. 101, the head of the OSCE/ODIHR mission talked to observers. According to them, the election process was calm, with young people being active voters.

Jacques Faure previously served as Ambassador of France to Ukraine, co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group (for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict).
