MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – I expect the Belarusian People’s Congress to propose solutions to improve the living standards in the country, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of Belarus, Chairman of Belarus’ Liberal Democratic Party Oleg Gaidukevich told the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.

“I will definitely take part in the Belarusian People’s Congress. We should show the whole world, first of all Belarusians, that we have a clear-cut plan of action for the coming years. We should demonstrate our vision of Belarus, chart the reforms, and show that we want to preserve the best of what we have. Many areas require changes, but we will introduce them in an evolutionary way, without destroying anything. People are waiting for specific solutions and deadlines. We should tell them what will happen in a year or in half a year,” Oleg Gaidukevich said.

“As a member of the parliament, a party leader, and a politician, I expect the Belarusian People’s Congress to put forward specific solutions aimed at improving the living standards in our country, to make it stronger and more beautiful,” he added.
