VIP guests of Minsk European Games receive gifts from Belarus president

MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave presents to the VIP guests who arrived in Belarus for the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Games, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian leader met with the VIP guests and gave them special sets of gifts. The set included the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 panel made of a 1,500-year-old bog oak. This material is used to decorate the most exquisite interiors. The 35x40cm painting features medallions portraying pictograms of 15 sports of the games.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also presented each VIP guest with a set of Belarusian chocolate and the mascot of the 2nd European Games, Lesik the Fox.
