Uniforms of European Games MINSK 2019 Star Ambassadors unveiled in Moscow

MOSCOW, 14 November (BelTA) - People's Artist of Russia Edgard Zapashny, who is Star Ambassador of the Second European Games along with his brother Askold Zapashny, held a special photo shoot in Moscow on 14 November to show samples of the uniforms of Star Ambassadors of the upcoming games in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Edgard Zapashny described the uniform as very convenient and all-weather, and high quality. The main symbols are Minsk 2019. Everything is here. The uniform is colorful and eye-catching,” he said. It has been designed Yulia Latushkina and made by Solo-Pinsk company.
In his words, Belarus hosts big important events on a regular basis. “To be part of such an event is a great honor for us. It was a surprise for me and my brother when we were invited to be Star Ambassadors,” Edgard Zapashny said.
The 2nd European Games are scheduled to take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete for 200 sets of awards in 15 sports. The competitions in 10 sports will offer qualification opportunities for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
