Themed metro trains enter service ahead of European Games

MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – Minsk Metro and the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) have implemented a joint project to launch themed metro trains in the run-up to the European Games, BelTA has learned from the MEGOC press service.

Minsk metro has launched one themed train in each of the two lines. Two carriages picture 15 sport pictograms (15 images of Lesik the Fox wearing sport outfits), the logo of the European Games, the official website address, and hashtags of the games. Other carriages feature stickers with information about competitions and the motto of the games.

Multimedia screens inside the trains and at the stations broadcast promo videos about the European Games. It is also planned to upgrade the spacial navigation system at the stations.

Minsk will host the 2nd European Games on 21-30 June 2019.
