MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Vasil Kiryienka of Belarus claimed the champion title in the Men’s Time Trial at the 2nd European Games on 25 June. The Belarusian cyclist was also the first in the event at the 2015 European Games in Baku, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian covered the distance of 28.6km in 33:03.34. After the race, Vasil Kiryienka said that he had not taken part in big tournaments for some time, and today’s medal became a great present for his forthcoming birthday (he will turn 38 on 28 June).
