Microplus named official timekeeper of 2nd European Games in Minsk

MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) - The Italian company MicroPlus has been named the official timekeeper of the 2nd European Games in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC).

According to the MEGOC, applications for participation in the tender came from four biggest global companies with an impeccable reputation. The volume of documents submitted to the European Games special commission and Synesis Sport amounted to 1000 pages. Experts took into account factors such as the experience and success of the events, compliance with the requirements of the international and European federations, the equipment for data processing and timing and the capability of integrating the data within the official website of the European Games and the EMS Synesis platform. The application from the Italian company was the most convincing and high-quality.

The signing ceremony was attended by Director of Synesis Sport Dmitry Shvedko and MicroPlus CEO Mauro Cedrani.

MicroPlus has been on the market since 2000. The company’s portfolio features dozens of major tournaments including the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan and the 2018 European Aquatics Championships in Glasgow.
