Zimbabwe interested in contacts with Belarusian businesses

MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) hosted a meeting between BelCCI Deputy Chair Yelena Shabalina and Mike Nicholas Sango on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission, BelTA informs citing the press service of the chamber.

The parties reviewed the results of interaction between the BelCCI and the Embassy of Zimbabwe. According to them, in recent years a solid foundation has been laid to promote cooperation between the business communities of the two countries and to implement joint projects. Yelena Shabalina thanked Mike Nicholas Sango for his contribution to building contacts between the business circles of Belarus and Zimbabwe, for his and the embassy’s active support for the events and initiatives of the BelCCI.

The ambassador conveyed the interest of Zimbabwe’s business community to scale up cooperation with Belarusian enterprises, as well as readiness to continue assisting Belarusian exporters in Zimbabwe.
