On 6 June Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko met with Head of the Office of the Embassy of Switzerland in Minsk Claude Altermatt. The sides underlined the importance of the decision the Swiss government made on 15 May to upgrade its diplomatic mission up to the embassy level. “This step testifies to a noticeable intensification of Belarusian-Swiss relations,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
