MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Slovakia is interested in cooperation with Belarus in biotechnology, Olga Nachtmannova, State Secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport, told the media at the ministerial meeting of the Central European Initiative (CEI) on science and technology headlined Biotechnology for Healthy and Active Life in the CEI Region on 26 October, BelTA has learned.

“Slovakia is interested in cooperation with Belarus in biotechnology. Our collaboration holds great prospects. It benefits both sides, and we already see some results,” Olga Nachtmannova said. The state secretary also recalled that the 13th session of the Belarusian-Slovak commission on cooperation in trade, economy, science, and technology was held in Bratislava last week. The commission outlined the avenues of further Belarus-Slovakia interaction.
