Representatives of 12 countries to take part in B2B contact fair Brest 2017

BREST, 11 April (BelTA) – Representatives of 12 countries have applied for participation in the second International B2B Contact Fair Brest 2017 on 27-28 April, BelTA learned from organizers of the fair.

The event will gather delegations of Russia’s Udmurtia, Kaliningrad Oblast and Bryansk Oblast, Ukraine’s Volyn Oblast and Zhitomir Oblast. The meeting will also be attended by the business circles of Poland which will arrive in Brest from Warsaw, Gdansk, towns of Lubusz Voivodeship and Lublin Voivodeship. Representatives of China's Henan Province, Jordan, Turkey, Bangladesh, Italy and Pakistan have applied for participation in the event as well as businessmen from Cameroon, Ghana and Indonesia.

A dialogue on the topical matters of cooperation will be established with potential investors. A business matchmaking session will be arranged to allow domestic enterprises to find partners abroad. During the event there will be presentations of about 20 perspective investment projects. Foreign partners will be offered to put money into woodworking, food industry and construction enterprises as well as the development of agriculture and tourism.

An expo will be organized where enterprises of Brest Oblast and other Belarusian regions will present their products and services. It will include expositions of Russian, Ukrainian and Pakistani organizations as well. During the expo visitors will be able to get acquainted with offers in various spheres of economy. The program of the forum includes such events as conferences on the development of alternative energy, agricultural and tourism sector and export promotion.

The first International B2B Contact Fair took place in Brest in April 2016. It brought together about 130 companies from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, China and Latvia. Representatives of some 30 countries, including representatives of trade and economic departments of the embassies accredited in Belarus, attended the fair.

The B2B contact fair Brest 2017 will be organized by the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
