The relevant arrangements were made when Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Goshin met with Governor of Vietnam’s Lao Cai Province Dang Xuan Phong, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

During the meeting the sides discussed measures meant to invigorate trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Lao Cai Province. The sides agreed to sign an interregional agreement on friendly relations and cooperation between Lao Cai Province and an oblast of Belarus.

The Ambassador of Belarus also met with manufacturers of tea and spices to discuss direct deliveries to Belarus. During negotiations with the large state-run apatite mining company Vinaapaco the sides discussed an increase in deliveries of Belarusian mining machines and wheeled vehicles to Vietnam.
