In his opinion, one of the biggest Slovenian companies Riko is a good example of stable and efficient work in Belarus. For more than a decade the company has been developing ties with Belarusian partners and enhancing cooperation, determining new cooperation projects. The company has begun its versatile work in Belarus from the delivery of European equipment for the modernization of the machine-building industry. The representative of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the negotiations with Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna in Ljubljana on 6-7 July. In his words, both sides agreed to bolster Belarus-Slovenia contacts. Among other promising areas Stanislav Rascan mentioned Belarus-Slovenia ties in the energy sector and infrastructure. Riko is planning to take part in the implementation of these projects. The sides are also interested in strengthening contacts in tourism, including rural tourism.
