Over 60 German businessmen and a group of Belarusian managers, who were in Germany as part of the Belarusian-German young executive personnel training program, took part in the Belarusian Economy Day.

Ambassador of Belarus to Germany Denis Sidorenko came forward with a presentation of Belarus’ economic potential. Attention was drawn to opportunities for doing business in Belarus using the potential and favorable framework conditions in free economic zones, small and medium towns, the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, and the Hi-Tech Park in Minsk.

Additional opportunities for reaching the 180-million strong market of the Eurasian Economic Union via Belarus were emphasized as well as Belarus’ advantageous geographical position as a transportation and logistics link between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union.
