MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) - Digitalization of production processes is the future of enterprises, Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Tatiana Brantsevich said during her working visit to Gomel on 28 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.

Tatiana Brantsevich visited a number of enterprises, including 8 Marta, Komintern and Gomel Fat Factory. She met with the management and representatives of the enterprises to discuss problematic issues and development prospects.

“The successful operation of any enterprise depends primarily on effective management. Timely management decisions can help improve the financial condition of enterprises, such as the fat factory. It is necessary to work systematically with the stocks of produced products, to look for ways to reduce costs by getting rid of non-liquid property, to interact productively with domestic suppliers of raw materials and much more. These efforts will help reduce the debt load, replenish circulating assets, enter foreign markets with deeply processed products. The management should be responsible for the development of a business plan that would attract a potential investor who would be able to give a new life to the enterprise. Such a solution, in particular, is being worked out for 8 Marta enterprise with the participation of the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom,” the deputy minister said.

According to Tatiana Brantsevich, stably performing enterprises should also see the prospects for further development. “It is necessary to work actively in foreign markets, to attract investors with developed technologies and distribution networks. It is also necessary to remember about the digitalization of production processes. The future belongs to such industry,” she emphasized.

During her working trip, the deputy minister also took part in a meeting of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee to revise the results of the social and economic development of the region in Q1 2021.
