MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian defense technology expo MILEX 2017 will showcase products by 90 companies from seven countries, BelTA learned from the website of the State Defense Industries Committee of Belarus.

“The previous editions of the expo have shown a growing interest in the Belarusian expo from the world’s manufacturers of military equipment. Ninety companies from Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine have already confirmed their participation. We have also received confirmations from 20 official delegations from 11 countries, including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, China, Nigeria, and Russia. All in all, 55 official delegations from 27 countries plan to attend the expo. Representatives of the foreign defense companies that maintain scientific, technical or manufacturing cooperation with Belarusian companies will take part in MILEX 2017 at the invitation of the heads of the companies affiliated with the State Defense Industries Committee and the enterprises of the defense sector of the Belarusian economy. The organizers have been working hard to expand the list of events and make the expo eventful,” the post on the website reads.

The State Defense Industries Committee has recently hosted a meeting of the organizing committee of the eighth international arms and military technology expo MILEX 2017.
