New Belarusian passenger vehicles for Moldova

MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – Belarus will take part in the renewal of the passenger transport fleet in Moldova. The relevant memorandum of understanding was signed by the Belarusian Economy Ministry and the Moldovan Economy Ministry in the presence of the two heads of state in Minsk on 16 July, BelTA has learned.

The document envisages a joint project for renewing the passenger transport fleet in Moldova. Apart from that, the Belarusian Industry Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chisinau city administration for the sake of setting up an enterprise in the Moldovan capital to assemble MAZ buses.

The Supreme Court of Belarus and the Supreme Court of Moldova signed a memorandum of understanding in cooperation and exchange of legal information.

The documents that have been signed include a protocol of the 16th session of the Belarusian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation and a protocol on the exchange of ratification instruments with regard to the Belarusian-Moldovan agreement on the transfer of sentenced persons for their further service of sentence.

The sides also signed a package of documents designed to fuel interregional cooperation. The number includes an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, educational, and cultural cooperation between the Minsk Oblast administration and the administration of the Moldovan autonomous region of Gagauzia. Gagauzia and Mogilev Oblast signed an action plan for 2015-2016 for the sake of fulfilling the agreement on trade, economic, and cultural cooperation.
