Moscow may purchase new Belarusian innovative equipment

MOSCOW, 28 September (BelTA) – Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov suggests organizing the delivery of new Belarusian innovative equipment to Moscow. He made the statement at the meeting with Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin in Moscow, BelTA has learned.

“We are interested in the delivery of equipment to Moscow. We have new innovative projects which can be in demand in Moscow,” Andrei Kobyakov said.

The Belarusian Prime Minister noted that the trade and economic relations with Moscow are diverse. In 2013 the trade turnover made up $5 billion. However, the economic situation has recently had an impact on the trade volume. “But it is still high. Our main objective is to exceed the volume of $5 billion,” Andrei Kobyakov said. The Prime Minister added that in 2015 Belarus exported $0.5 billion worth of food to Moscow.

The Belarusian head of government also stressed that Belarus is interested in the development of construction cooperation with Moscow. In his opinion, Belarusian architects and designers can take part in the projects to beautify the Russian capital.
