Minsk to host Moscow-Belarus business cooperation forum on 7 June

MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Minsk will host a Moscow-Belarus business cooperation forum on 7 June, BelTA learned from the economy committee of Minsk City Hall.

Its participants will work in different sections to discuss e-procurement systems, innovative scientific solutions for the manufacturing industry, energy conservation and IT technologies in big cities, trade in food between Moscow and Belarus, and other matters.

The business cooperation forum will be one of the events of the Days of Moscow in Minsk to be held as part of the Third Belarus-Russia Forum of Regions to take place in the Belarusian capital on 7 and 8 June.

The Days of Moscow will be held in Minsk from 6 to 8 June. Their program is extensive and diverse. A session of the working group coordinating the cooperation between Moscow and the Republic of Belarus will open at Minsk Town Hall on 6 June. The Departments of Education, Healthcare, Labor and Social Security of the Russian capital will hold sector-specific events. The Days of Moscow in Minsk will feature roundtable conferences to discuss modern education trends, healthcare standards and promote the exchange of best practices between the employment services of Moscow and Minsk. Russian specialists will be invited to visit municipal infrastructure facilities in Minsk.

A number of events will be themed around the Great Patriotic War. For instance, the Moscow delegation will lay a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk on 6 June. Besides, the House of Moscow will host the final round of an international children’s essay contest.

The Days of Moscow in Minsk will also feature a book fair about the Russian capital and photo exhibition My Moscow. Junior hockey teams from Moscow and Minsk will play friendlies.
