MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) - The first international forum on chemical technologies, oil and gas processing Petrochemsitry 2018 will be held in the Belarusian State Technological University on 27-30 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belneftekhim Concern.

The forum, to be attended representatives of the organizations affiliated with Belneftekhim Concern, will discuss the development of the petrochemical industry in the world, export/import potential of cooperation, new technologies in oil refining and production of petrochemical materials, personnel training for the industry and other issues.

The forum will begin on 27 November with a meeting of the CIS Business Cooperation Council and the Belarus-Russia Union State. Meetings of the Slovak-Belarusian and Polish-Belarusian scientific and educational consortia will be held on the same day. An exhibition of innovative products, scientific and technical developments will be co-located with the forum

The event is organized by the Belarusian State Technological University with the support of Belneftekhim Concern, the Industry Ministry and the Education Ministry of Belarus, the CIS Executive Committee and the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State. The forum aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge in the field of chemical and petrochemical industry, promote contacts between scientists and technologists, attract potential partners and investors.
