MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Georgian business forum will take place in Minsk on 23 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
The event is organized by the BCCI and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia as part of the official visit of Georgia Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili to Belarus.
It is expected that the forum will be attended by Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, Georgia Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, ministers, heads of other government bodies and the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries.
The forum will focus on the promising avenues of expanding bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation. Representatives of more than 50 Belarusian and 28 Georgian enterprises will hold talks on the prospects of cooperation and implementation of joint projects in machine-building, production of foodstuffs and wines, insurance, IT, banking, petroleum chemistry, pharmaceutics, production of paints and coatings.
The event will be held at the National Library of Belarus.
