MAZ takes part in exhibition in Chisinau

MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) - The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ has presented its vehicles at Moldagrotech, the international exhibition of vehicles, equipment and technologies for the agricultural industry, which was held in Chisinau on 13-16 October, BelTA learned from the company’s press service.

MAZ together with the official dealer CBS Motors has presented the dump truck MAZ-651308 and the bus MAZ-206946 running on compressed natural gas. "The exhibition is a great opportunity to find new business partners, expand sales markets, establish long-term contacts with manufacturing enterprises, scientific institutions from Moldova and other countries," the press service said.

The exhibition was held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Anatoly Kalinin visited the exposition of the Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ.

Moldagrotech is an annual event that determines the development of the agricultural industry of Moldova and showcases the achievements of the best farms and agricultural enterprises of all regions of the country.

MAZ is one of Belarus' largest mechanical engineering companies. It specializes in making heavy-duty trucks, special-purpose vehicles, buses, trolleybuses, and trailing units. MAZ is a well-known international brand. MAZ vehicles are compliant with the environmental standards Euro-5 and Euro-6. The company makes a total of over 500 models and 3,000 modifications of tractor units, dropside trucks, and chassis for mounting various kinds of equipment.
