MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) – During his visit to Horizont Holding Company on 31 December, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko was briefed not only on the robotic production of AI-powered television sets. The enterprise has also embarked on developing technologies for the agricultural sector, which are no less important. The head of state was shown a mock-up of an automated milking unit based on a robotic manipulator with elements of artificial intelligence. The unit has been developed by OAO H Holding company, BelTA has learned.
The product is not yet ready for mass production, but the process is underway. The company took up this development on its own initiative.
“If you make it, we will spare no expense for you. Because it is important for us,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “This is our future if we want to continue ensuring our own food security. Guys, if you pull this off, you will do a great job. We need a result.”
The president admitted that he was surprised to learn about this development and that Horizont would be milking cows.
