Lukashenko approves loan agreement between Belarus, EBRD
MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the loan agreement between Belarus and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The head of state signed corresponding Decree No. 420 on 23 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The agreement was signed in Minsk on 14 September 2017. It will support the capitalization of OAO Belarusian Bank for Reconstruction and Development Belinvestbank through the subordinated debt facility.
The decree comes into force from the date of its signature.
As it was reported, in September Alexander Lukashenko signed the decree on raising the external state loan in the amount of €50 million from the EBRD to strengthen Belinvestbank's capital base for the period of six years
