MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Israel and China are interested in buying ice cream made by Minsk Refrigerating Plant No.2, BelTA learned from the company’s Director Alexander Rubinov on 25 October.
The executive said: “Our ice cream has sparked interest in Israel and China. We have already made up our minds on the choice of products with Israel. We’ve received three partnership proposals from China.”
Products made by Minsk Refrigerating Plant No.2 are sold in Russia (Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Smolensk, Podolsk, Sochi, Izhevsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, and other cities) and Azerbaijan. In January-September 2018 the company exported nearly 30% of the ice cream it made. In the period the company made 4,200 tonnes of ice cream.
The company boasts one of Belarus’ largest ice cream production capacities. Minsk Refrigerating Plant No.2 offers over 50 ice cream varieties to customers. It also makes non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, drinking water, waffles, round loaves, cakes, and pelmeni.
Minsk Refrigerating Plant No.2 started working in 1950. It is a versatile business, which includes a production division, wholesale and retail divisions, and a public catering division.
