MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – In March 2018 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.8% as against February 2018 and 102.5% as against December 2017, representatives of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
In March 2018 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.5% in comparison with February 2018 and 101.4% in comparison with December 2017.
In March 2018 food prices went up by 0.6% from February 2018 and 4.6% in comparison with March 2017. Non-food prices grew by 0.9% from February 2018 and by 2.7% from March 2017. The index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 101.1% as against February 2018 and 110.9% as against March 2017.
